AutoIn Bilskade AS is a Norwegian, independent company with long experience in car damage repair and painting. We aim to be a serious, flexible, highly competent challenger—leading on EV and EV-battery expertise. Today we have 10 10 car damage departments across the Oslo area, Østfold and Bergen.

1984: Harald Rømcke Billakkering AS established as an independent paint workshop
Start-up B. O. Steen Autostern Ullevål. Later establishment of Citroen Storo and Stenshagen Bil Skøyen. Operated for a long time 3 workshops in Oslo.
1999: Own large facility for painting and broader damage handling
2010 - d.d.: Increased focus on EVs and batteries, Tesla-approved workshop, NIO partner, etc.
2012 - d.d.: Expansion in Greater Oslo: Hvam, Billingstad, Moss, Alnabru and Økern
2019 - d.d.: Expansion in Bergen: Åsane and Kokstad (November 2021)
2022 - d.d.: Expansion in Østfold: Sarpsborg and Fredrikstad (November 2022)
AutoIn chose early on to focus on sustainability in ways that benefit our employees, the local community, our company, and not least our customers.
Steps we have taken—and plan to take—to improve sustainability and reduce our climate footprint:
1999: Modern large facility with district heating and 100% water-based paint products
2003: Started AutoFrakt, which today operates exclusively with modern trucks meeting the latest emissions requirements
2012 - d.d.: Expansion with satellite workshops so minor and medium damage can be handled close to customers
2015 - d.d.: Sorting all waste, and increased use of quality used parts upon customer request
2019 - d.d.: Electrification of our facilities, automation and upgrades for improved energy efficiency
2021: Completed transition to electric cars and vans, and fast chargers at all locations
2021: Pilot for mobile damage assessment using EVs so customers don’t need to drive to us
2021: Expansion of battery expertise, aiming to enable more reuse and repair
2022: Started certification as Miljøfyrtårn, in collaboration with GreenFocus
2023: Pilot for solar energy use at our new Røyken facility, with solar panels on roof and walls
2023: Dismantling quality used parts for an internal buffer stock in collaboration with Grønvold's
2024: AutoFrakt with full use of small electric trucks in central areas, and choosing the future long-haul vehicles
d.d. - 2030: Further investments aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing emissions by 55%
