AutoIn Bilskade acquires Bergen Billakkering AS with effect from 1 September. The company runs a body and paint workshop in Åsane, and the acquisition doubles AutoIn's body repair capacity in Bergen. For customers on the west coast it means shorter repair times and a larger professional environment.
Bergen Billakkering AS runs a body and paint workshop in Åsane. The company has six employees and is owned by Tommy Skauge Andersen, who is also its managing director.
This acquisition is part of our continued investment in the Bergen area, and it will strengthen the operations we already have there.
Twice the body repair capacity in Bergen
The acquisition doubles AutoIn's body and paint capacity in Bergen. Bergen Billakkering is located in Åsane, in the same area as AutoIn Bilskade Bergen at Nyborg, and the two teams will complement each other on capacity, expertise and equipment.
Harald Rømcke points out that Bergen Billakkering has built solid expertise and a strong local position.
It gives us the capacity we need to reduce repair times, while we keep a clear focus on results and quality.
A well-run workshop in growth
Bergen Billakkering has grown strongly in recent years, with turnover nearly doubling since 2022 and solid profits along the way. Last year operating income was just over NOK 17 million, and profit before tax ended at NOK 3.3 million. That gave a profit margin of 19.2 per cent.
Combined turnover for AutoIn's workshops in the Bergen area is expected to reach around NOK 50 million in 2026.
Management in Bergen
AutoIn's operations in Bergen are led by Stig Otto Berntsen. Together with Tommy Skauge Andersen he takes responsibility for running the business going forward. Bergen Billakkering continues as a separate company under its current name.
