Star Motor in Sandvika is Tesla's fourth structural-damage approved body shop in the AutoIn chain, and the only Tesla Approved Body Shop in Asker and Bærum. The workshop is now certified as a primary location for structural repairs on Tesla.
Star Motor in Sandvika, which became part of the AutoIn Group on 1 January 2026, is now approved as a Tesla Approved Body Shop (TABS) with primary location status. This means Star Motor is certified to perform structural repairs on Tesla vehicles, in accordance with Tesla's own requirements and control processes. Tesla carries out regular follow-ups throughout the first year.
The workshop is now listed in Tesla's official directory of approved body shops: tesla.com/support/collision-support.

Tesla-certified since 2013
AutoIn Bilskade has been Tesla-certified since 2013 — one of the first workshops in Norway. The approval of Star Motor extends this expertise to the Bærum region and strengthens the offering for Tesla owners in western Oslo.

With Star Motor in Sandvika, the chain is now up to four structural-damage approved locations, and the first in the Asker/Bærum region.

- Approved to Tesla's requirements: Repairs follow Tesla's own procedures, including aluminium work, structural damage and ADAS calibration.
