AutoIn Fredrikstad is seeking a Technical Manager/Appraiser.

AutoIn Bilskade Fredrikstad is growing and looking for a Technical Manager who can also handle appraisals. If you're a certified auto body repair technician with technical management experience, focused on customer satisfaction, and enjoy varied tasks—this is the opportunity for you!

The role is ideal for someone with a relevant certification (trade certificate or equivalent), experience in auto body repair, and a background in appraisals and customer service.

We're looking for a solution-oriented person who is passionate about the field. You should be service-minded, able to work in a team, and capable of making independent decisions. Following regulations and laws regarding proper damage repair is a priority.

Your daily responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with customers and performing physical and digital damage appraisals (DBS).
  • Assisting in the workshop when needed.
  • Supporting the department manager with incoming calls and emails.
  • Collaborating with customer service representatives, auto body technicians, and painters to assist customers with inquiries regarding repairs or appointments.
  • Acting as a trusted right-hand support for the department manager.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certified auto body repair technician (mandatory).
  • Experience as a Technical Manager or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with DBS and damage appraisal processes.
  • Service-minded, organized, and outgoing.
  • Proficient in using various IT systems.
  • Holds a Class B driver’s license.
