AutoIn’s work with human rights and decent working conditions

1. Introduction

AutoIn Bilskade AS (hereinafter "AutoIn") is committed to, and complies with, the Transparency Act which entered into force on 1 July 2022. This includes, among other things, that AutoIn carries out due diligence assessments and works to identify actual and potential negative impacts on fundamental human rights and decent working conditions.

AutoIn responds to questions from the general public. Transparency@autoin.no is the email address to be used for information and communication.

A new reporting period will be at the end of this year.

2. About the organization and structure of the business

AutoIn is a wholly owned Norwegian company whose operations include car painting and body repair, and has approximately 100 employees. All operations take place in Norway, and the company delivers production services exclusively domestically. All of AutoIn’s largest customers and suppliers are Norwegian companies.

3. Policies and procedures

a. Own operations

AutoIn has initial routines to identify negative impacts on fundamental human rights and decent working conditions in our workplaces. The board has focused on working environment, equality, and discrimination. Wage levels at AutoIn are based on role level and job descriptions and are not influenced by gender, worldview, and similar factors. No discrimination has been identified in the board’s initial assessments. AutoIn has established a whistleblowing routine for all employees and encourages employees to report cases that have negative impacts regarding decent working conditions. AutoIn is now working on establishing concrete processes and procedures regarding decent working conditions. The following areas have been identified and will be prioritized in our internal work -

b. Supply chain and partners

AutoIn is a company whose operations include car painting and body repair. AutoIn’s largest purchases are spare parts for passenger cars and paint products. AutoIn has carried out an initial risk assessment of the supply chains regarding human rights and decent working conditions. This currently covers suppliers included in the company’s value chain that deliver products and/or services to production. Suppliers are sorted by total purchasing volume and the work started with the largest suppliers. AutoIn’s influence as a buyer is also part of the assessments. The following areas have been identified and will be prioritized in our work with risk assessment of supply chains -

4. Measures

AutoIn plans to implement measures to be able to stop actual negative impacts and limit significant risk of negative impacts on fundamental human rights and decent working conditions. These measures will be adapted to the areas described in section 3 a. and b.

The due diligence work is a continuous process, and AutoIn will continue working on this both in the supply chains and in its own operations.
