FAQ / How does a car insurance claim work — step by step?

For an insurance claim, the process is usually as follows:

1. You report the damage to your insurer and receive a claim number.
2. You book a damage assessment with us (or send a photo assessment).
3. We assess the damage and send a cost estimate to the insurer.
4. Once the insurer approves, we agree a repair time with you.
5. You pay only the deductible (and any reduction) at pickup — we invoice the rest directly to the insurer.
