Asked by Customer on 01 June 2026
I see that some workshops use district heating instead of oil or electricity. Is district heating actually an environmentally friendly heat source?

Yes. District heating in Oslo is mainly produced from waste incineration and bioenergy, and is considered a renewable heat source without fossil heating. It replaces heating oil and relieves the power grid. AutoIn uses renewable heating, including district heating, at relevant locations as part of our work towards more energy-efficient operations.
