TIP: Check for hidden car damage before winter 🕵🏻‍♀️ Check your car for body damage before winter. Road salt can get through the paint and reach the metal, causing damage. Salt contributes to corrosion, which is not covered by factory warranties. Ideally check your car twice per year, and preferably after each wash. What if you see small damage? Minor damage can often be fixed with smart repair, which we offer at our workshops. How does damage handling through insurance work? If you’ve had an accident, you should book a damage assessment (“estimate”) as soon as possible so we can determine whether it should be covered by you or your insurer. You book the repair. Call us or easily book an assessment on our website www.autoin.no. We can also meet you near where you travel or live. One of our skilled employees will inspect the damage and estimate the repair. We send the calculation and relevant info directly to your insurer. Deductible is an important topic before deciding to use insurance. If you have rental car coverage, we arrange it. Damage handling through insurance?

If an accident has happened, should I use insurance or not? 🤔 If you consider using your insurance, we usually recommend booking a damage assessment first. Minor damage can often be below your deductible, so it may be worth not using insurance due to bonus loss.
