AutoIn Bilskade moves to Alnabru and doubles capacity
Published 2024-11-27 by AutoIn Bilskade AS
AutoIn Bilskade continues to expand and is now relocating its repair center from Ryen to much larger premises at Alnabru, enabling AutoIn to offer increased capacity and shorter wait times.
AutoIn Bilskade is taking a significant step in its commitment to efficient operations by relocating one of its ten locations to a new, larger facility at Alnabru in Oslo.
About the New Facilities
The new premises, located at Smalvollveien 46, span a total of 2,700 square meters and replace the company’s branch at Ryen. The new center, with two repair workshops and a 1,200-square-meter paint shop, nearly doubles the capacity of the previous location.
With a more efficient facility and a total of 80 parking spaces, this is an ideal location for both us and our customers. The location at Alnabru is also an important factor that strengthens our ability to meet the needs of the Oslo region.
An Important Expansion for Future Growth
With increased capacity, AutoIn Bilskade plans to reduce wait times and expand the number of brand authorizations. The company is already an authorized repair shop for Tesla and Nio, among others, and the new facility opens up opportunities for further collaboration.
Nio is selling a large number of vehicles to Oslo Taxi, and we are now very well prepared to handle this increased volume.
Despite the challenges in today’s labor market, AutoIn has already secured the necessary workforce for the new location. Everything is in place for the launch on March 1, and we are excited to start operations at the new facility.
Part of our 2030 Sustainability Strategy
The move to Alnabru also marks a significant milestone in AutoIn Bilskade’s sustainability efforts. The new premises enable a transition to zero-emission operations, which was not possible at Ryen. This is a key step in achieving our sustainability goals towards 2030.
